Yesterday was the "5 to 7 VIP" and the organizing committee took the opportunity to thank the sponsors of the Edmundston Jazz and Blues Festival 18th edition.

Saturday, May 12 from 10am to 3pm, there will be a passports blitz sale for the 18th Edition of Edmundston Jazz and Blues Festival. Passports will cost 22$. For each passport sold, $2.00 will be donated to Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge, an accommodation center for our people with cancer. With the purchase of each passport you get a chance to win a 16GB IPad 3! CFAI and CJEM radios will be on site. Good luck! Passports will be sold: -At City Hall Park in Edmundston. 18th Edition of Jazz and Blues Festival ~ 08 May. 2012 |

The Edmundston Jazz and Blues Festival, which will be held from June 20th to June 23rd, will offer many shows on the theme of international music and on the theme of the 2014 World Acadian Congress. World-renowned artists will attend at this event as well as excellent artists from the three hosting regions of the WAC 2014. Fun will be there!

The organizing committee of the Edmundston Jazz & Blues Festival was holding their annual general meeting last night in Edmundston. It was time to evaluate our 2010 edition and the Organization has experienced a very eventful year, but still had a great success. "While we finish the year with a deficit of operation of a little more than $ 9,000, we are proud of the 2010 Edition and are ready to tackle the 2011 Edition with enthusiasm " to mention the President France St-Onge." "We will analyze our situation and make the necessary adjustments to ensure that our festival will continue to prosper for many years to come" says Ms. St-Onge. The new executive committee has been elected and Ms. St-Onge will be the President for the 2011 Edition. She will be supported by a group of 17 energetic volunteers. The next Edition will take place from June 15 to June 18, downtown Edmundston |

! NEW ! This year, we are happy to offer a new concept called "Jazz Cabaret". We will present artists from the region and elsewhere every night, from 6 pm to 7 pm, under a small tent on the Riviera Real Estate terrace. Beer garden from 5 pm to 7 pm. Come and enjoy the Terrace and the IGA Extra food !
