The 17th edition of the Jazz and Blues Festival will hold its annual press conference Monday April 11th, 4pm, at the City Hall Square Details on the upcoming artists and new features of the 2011 Edition will be released |

The organizing committee of the Edmundston Jazz & Blues Festival was holding their annual general meeting last night in Edmundston. It was time to evaluate our 2010 edition and the Organization has experienced a very eventful year, but still had a great success. "While we finish the year with a deficit of operation of a little more than $ 9,000, we are proud of the 2010 Edition and are ready to tackle the 2011 Edition with enthusiasm " to mention the President France St-Onge." "We will analyze our situation and make the necessary adjustments to ensure that our festival will continue to prosper for many years to come" says Ms. St-Onge. The new executive committee has been elected and Ms. St-Onge will be the President for the 2011 Edition. She will be supported by a group of 17 energetic volunteers. The next Edition will take place from June 15 to June 18, downtown Edmundston |

! NEW ! This year, we are happy to offer a new concept called "Jazz Cabaret". We will present artists from the region and elsewhere every night, from 6 pm to 7 pm, under a small tent on the Riviera Real Estate terrace. Beer garden from 5 pm to 7 pm. Come and enjoy the Terrace and the IGA Extra food ! Here are the artists presented on the terrace - Wednesday June 16 : Gilles Guérette and friends

It's today that the Festival's office, 5 Court Street, is officially opening. For now, opening hours will be from 11 am to 8 pm, Monday to Friday. Don't miss the badges on sale until the end of May! |
